“Environmental Antibiotic Pollution Control Strategy and Technology Research” passed the acceptance test

At the acceptance meeting, the project leader Liu Jinhuai researcher summarized and demonstrated the research work and achievements of the project from the aspects of basin antibiotic distribution, antibiotic treatment technology and demonstration application. In the past two years, the research team has established a database of antibiotics regression models and antibiotic pollution sources in the basin through the investigation and analysis of antibiotic pollution in the Dongting Lake basin, and provided them to the local government for the future development of the basin's ecological environmental protection policy. The important scientific basis; the project takes the development of advanced oxidation catalysts and the culture separation of new antibiotic-degrading bacteria as a breakthrough, develops advanced treatment technology for antibiotic pollution in water, promotes the innovation of antibiotic treatment technology; successfully synthesized iron-based nanocatalytic materials , modified activated carbon adsorption materials and antibiotic degrading bacteria prepared by strains of OTC-2 and Z1, and applied to antibiotic pollution treatment of hospital wastewater and pig farm sewage, in Hefei Binhu Hospital and Guangdong Zhaoqing Yixin Two kinds of pilot demonstration bases were established in the breeding farms. The demonstration project was stable and the water quality was up to standard. During the implementation of the project, two major national R&D plan topics were obtained, and the tasks expected by the project were successfully completed.
After careful and meticulous exchange of inquiries, the participating experts fully affirmed the completion of the project and the results achieved. On behalf of the expert group, the research team leader Fan Weijun pointed out that the team's work in the antibiotic pollution survey, key technologies for antibiotic treatment and its demonstration application was outstanding, and the tasks expected by the project were successfully completed. He hoped that the project team will continue to strengthen the research and development of antibiotic pollution treatment technology and system equipment in the water, and develop the multi-faceted development of water resources management and increase the intensity of transformation and application of results.
Participating in the acceptance meeting were the Guangzhou Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Institute of Microbiology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Nanjing Institute of Geography and Limnology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and other project undertakers and related personnel of the Hefei Institute of Science and Technology.
