In 2011, Italian machine tool industry orders increased 19.6% year-on-year

The press conference of the Italian Machine Tool and Automation Manufacturers Association (UCIMU-SISTEMI PER PRODURRE) recently held that in 2011, the Italian machine tool, robotics, and automation industries had a production value of 5.019 billion euros, an increase of 19.6% from last year's 4.196 billion euros.

This increase was due to the strong growth in the export of Italian machine tools and automation products by 29.3% to 3.367 billion euros. According to relevant data released by the research institute of the Italian Machine Tool and Automation Manufacturers Association, in the first 8 months of this year, Italian products were exported to China, Germany, the United States, Brazil, France, India, Russia, Turkey, Spain and other countries. Data show that the total amount of machine tool products exported to Germany was 228 million euros, an increase of 62.9%; the value of exports to the United States was 170 million euros, an increase of 99.4%; the value of exports to Brazil was 115 million euros, an increase of 84.1%; exports The total amount of products in France was 105 million euros, an increase of 23.2%. Exports to India, Russia, Turkey, Poland and other countries all have different degrees of growth. In contrast, the total Italian machine tool products exported to China showed a slight decline of 0.4%, but still ranked first in Italian machine tool products with a total value of 240 million euros.

The Italian Association of Machine Tools and Automation Manufacturers also stated that compared with the strong momentum of overseas markets, the domestic market situation is not optimistic. The domestic machine tool market consumption reached 2.761 billion euros, an increase of only 11.9%. The slow increase in domestic market demand also reflects the slow recovery of manufacturers' delivery. The domestic market demand increased by only 3.8% to no more than 1.652 billion euros.
