Slurry pump commissioning solution

The commissioning of the pump should meet the following requirements:
1 The steering of the driver should be the same as the steering of the pump;
2 Find out the steering of the pipeline pump and the coaxial pump;
3 There should be no looseness in each fixed connection part, and the specification and quantity of lubricant added to each lubrication part shall comply with the provisions of the equipment technical documents;
4 Pre-lubricated parts should be pre-lubricated as required;
5 Each indicating instrument and safety protection device should be sensitive, accurate and reliable;
6 car should be flexible, no abnormalities;
7 The high-temperature pump should be preheated before test run. The temperature should rise evenly. The temperature rise should not exceed 500°C per hour. The temperature difference between the surface of the pump body and the process piping with working medium should not exceed 4090.
8 Set the connection device to eliminate the influence of temperature rise, and set the bypass connection device to provide the cooling water source.
Slurry pump operation should pay attention to the following points:
1 It is forbidden to run without water, do not adjust the intake of people to reduce the displacement, and prohibit the operation under too low flow;
2 Monitor the operation process and prevent the packing box from leaking. Use new packing when replacing the stuffing box.
3 to ensure that the mechanical seal has sufficient flushing water flow, water-cooled bearings prohibit the use of excessive water flow;
4 do not use too much lubricant;
5 Check the recommended cycle. Establish operating records, including hours of operation, adjustment and replacement of fillers, addition of lubricants and other maintenance measures and time. Centrifugal pump suction and discharge pressure, flow, input power, lotion and bearing temperature, and vibration conditions should be regularly recorded.
Before starting, check the entire unit as follows:
(1) The pump should be placed on a firm foundation to withstand the full weight of the pump and tighten all the bolts to prevent vibration.
(2) The piping and valves shall be supported and the weight of the piping and valves shall not be applied to the pump.
(3) For filling plus impeller combined seal type or packing sealed type slurry pump, rotate the shaft by hand in the direction of rotation of the pump, the shaft should be able to drive the impeller to rotate, there should be no friction, otherwise the impeller clearance should be adjusted (for mechanical seal The type of slurry pump, in the case of the correct installation of the mechanical seal, the impeller clearance is generally no longer adjusted.
The impeller clearance adjustment method of the bracket is: when the impeller is adjusted backwards, open the adjusting hole cover 3 , loosen the adjusting nut 2 , and tighten the adjusting nut 1. After the clearance meets the requirement, tighten the adjusting nuts 1 and 2 and install the adjusting hole cover 3 When adjusting in the opposite direction, loose nut 1 and nut 2 can be used.
(4) Disconnect the electric coupling, start the motor, check the rotation direction of the motor, and ensure that the pump shaft rotates in the direction of the arrow marked on the pump body. It is forbidden to rotate the motor with the pump, otherwise the impeller will fall off and cause an accident.
(5) In the direct drive, the pump shaft and motor shaft should be accurately centered to avoid vibration and wear.
(6) Install a removable, short tube or expansion joint on the suction tube of the pump. The length of the tube should be sufficient to disassemble the pump cover and replace the wearing parts to facilitate the maintenance of the pump.
(7) For the impeller and stuffer combination seal, check the amount of leakage at the packing: Before the start, open the shaft seal water. If the leakage is too large, tighten the packing nut until it leaks into a droplet. After opening the pump, if the leakage is small, and the filler heat, you can properly loosen the gland nut; if the filler continues to heat, stop the pump, make it cool, adjust the gland nut, relax the filler, so that the leakage slightly increased, Re-open the pump, after the packing and the bushing run, adjust the gland nut to reduce leakage.
(8) For mechanical seals, before starting the pump, check that the mechanical seal is installed correctly: Connect the mechanical seal interface to the shaft seal water line (The newly installed shaft seal water line should be pre-existing in the pipeline slag, Clean up or clean the sediment, etc.), start the shaft seal pump, open the shaft seal water line valve, and manually turn the pump shaft. If there is a drip phenomenon, there is dirt on the sealed end surface, and the cover bolt should be loosened with clean water. After flushing, press the gland again. Check for no leakage, indicating correct installation.
To start the shaft seal pump, the water pressure of the shaft seal should be higher than the working pressure of the slurry pump by 0.1 Mpa or more. After the shaft seal water enters the sealed chamber for five minutes, the slurry pump is started again.
(9) Start the pump with clean water, if possible, before pumping the slurry.
