The 2008 (9th) China International Chemical Industry Exhibition will be held from April 23 to 25 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. The exhibition gathered nearly 800 manufacturers from 23 countries and regions in the world, covering petroleum, petrochemical, chemical and related industries, exhibiting tens of thousands of products and technologies, and exhibiting an area of ​​23,000 square meters.
This exhibition set up a special exhibition area for overseas manufacturers, petroleum and chemical comprehensive exhibition areas; basic organic and inorganic chemical raw materials, dyes and pigments, fine and special chemicals, chemical synthetic materials and raw materials, chemical equipment, and automation and chemical technology; phosphorus chemical industry , Fluorine Chemicals, Water Treatment Chemicals, Chemical New Materials, Control Equipment, Drying Equipment, Packaging and Storage, Safety Production, New Technology Achievements, etc. The domestic part is steadily developing. At present, China National Petroleum Corporation, China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation, China National Offshore Oil Corporation, China National Chemical Corporation, and Shanghai Huayi (Group) Co., Ltd. as co-organizers continue to organize exhibitions; private (private) enterprise orders Attention was paid to the exhibition areas such as drying equipment, phosphorus chemicals, and fluorine chemicals, and the number of exhibitors reached new heights. Overseas exhibitors have seen a significant increase over the previous year. The total number of exhibitors has grown from more than 80 in the previous session to around 140. The German National Exhibition Group organized by the German Machinery and Equipment Manufacturers Association (VDMA) has a net area of ​​more than 300 square meters, an increase of about 50% over the previous session. The total number of German companies, associations, and media exhibited at this year's show also reached 22. In addition, France and Russia also organized a large-scale national pavilion. Other foreign-funded and domestic joint ventures such as Switzerland, India, the United Kingdom, Japan, South Korea, Austria, Sweden, Canada, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Denmark, the Netherlands, the UAE, Thailand, Malaysia, Hong Kong, China, and Taiwan are all participating in the exhibition.
