Graphite is one of the minerals of elemental carbon crystal. It has excellent properties such as light weight, high temperature resistance, thermal conductivity, electrical conductivity, lubrication, plasticity and chemical stability. It is widely used. According to the conditions of graphite formation, graphite deposits can be divided into five categories. Due to their different structures and symbiotic minerals, the floatability is affected, and the flotation method is slightly different. The floatability of natural graphite is quite good. The flotation method can select concentrates with a grade of 80%~90% from the original ore with a grade of 5%~10%. In particular, scaly graphite can be sorted by flotation.
1. Flotation principle process and internal structure of the process 1 Principle process—In order to protect the graphite scale from damage, a multi-stage grinding process should be adopted. After repeated grinding and re-election, the quality of the concentrate meets the requirements. The number of grindings is related to the mineral composition, embedding characteristics, ore grade and quality requirements of the ore. Re-grinding is to peel off the gangue impurities sandwiched between the graphite scales, and the particle size effect on the graphite itself should be as small as possible. Therefore, the grinding equipment adopts a rod mill and a mill which are mainly used for grinding and stripping, and they are better than a ball mill mainly based on striking force. In order to improve the grinding effect, a concentration operation should be set before the grinding, the grinding concentration should be kept at 40%~45%, and the concentration device can be a hydrocyclone or a sedimentation centrifuge. In the process of selection, if there are graphite monomer scales larger than 80 mesh, they should be separated in advance and can be used as raw materials for smelting. The separation method can be sieved by a wet method.
2 The internal structure of the process—most graphite flotation adopts a process structure that is developed to select. The rough selection time is generally 12~15min. The number of sweeps is small, but the sweep time should not be too short, otherwise the recovery rate will decrease. Under the condition that graphite is fully monomer dissociated, the number of times of selection directly affects the quality of the concentrate. For example, when the final concentrate grade requires 89%~90%, it should be selected 5~6 times. When the concentrate grade requirement is 95%, it should be added 2~3 times. The medium mine can use the process of re-election or sequential return, which has a higher grade of minerals. When it is rich in medium-sized ore, it can adopt the process of sequential return. Otherwise, it should be re-grinded separately. Selection process.
