Metamorphic sedimentary deposits of copper ore, ore body mainly occur in the Proterozoic Kunyang communities snow dolomite and argillaceous dolomite. The deposit consists of seven sections of the five hills (Longshan, Laoshan, Rare Mine, Xiaosuokou, Moonlu), which are divided into four pits. The ore bodies of each section are 30~660m long along the strike, with an average thickness of 1~11m, inclined depth of 60~550m, and inclination angle of 50°~90°, most of which are above the groundwater level. The mine design scale is 6500t/d.
The deposit is jointly developed by the combination of the bucket shaft, the flat shaft and the blind bucket.
