The transmission system of the B6065 planer is shown in Figure 1. The typical mechanism and adjustments are summarized below.

(1) Transmission mechanism The transmission mechanism shown in Fig. 1 is composed of two sets of sliding gears, one and two. The shaft III has 3×2=6 speeds to shift the speed of the ram.

(2) Pendulum Rod Mechanism In the pendulum rod mechanism, the gear 3 drives the gear 4 to rotate, and the slider 5 slides in the groove of the pendulum rod 6 and drives the pendulum rod 6 to rotate around the lower pivot point 7, thus driving the ram 8 to perform reciprocal linear motion.

(3) The stroke position adjusting mechanism releases the handle 11, rotates the shaft 12, and rotates the screw 9 through the 13 and 14 bevel gears. Since the screw nut 10 fixed on the swing rod 6 does not move, the screw 9 drives the ram 8 to change. starting point.

(4) Ram length adjustment mechanism The ram length adjustment mechanism is shown in Figure 2. During adjustment, the shaft 1 is rotated, and the bevel gears 5 and 6 are used to drive the small screw 2 to rotate so that the eccentric slide 7 moves. The crank pin 3 drives the eccentric slide 7 to change the eccentric position, thereby changing the stroke length of the ram.

(5) Changes in the speed of the reciprocating linear motion of the ram The reciprocating speed of the ram is not the same at all points, as shown in Fig. 3. The working stroke angle is α, the idle stroke is β, and α>β. Therefore, the return trip time is shorter than the working trip, that is, slow forward and quick return.

(6) Adjustment of the horizontal feed mechanism and feed The horizontal feed mechanism and feed adjustment are shown in Figure 4. The gear 2 is integrated with the gear 4 in FIG. 1. The gear 2 rotates the gear 1. The connecting rod 3 swings the pawl 4, and the ratchet 5 is turned to make the screw 6 rotate at an angle to achieve lateral feeding. In the reverse direction, since the pawl is inclined rearward, the inner spring in the pawl is compressed, and the pawl slides over the top of the ratchet wheel. Therefore, the lateral automatic feed of the working table is intermittent.

The amount of lateral feed of the table depends on the number of ratchet teeth that can be toggled by the pawl each time the ram reciprocates. Therefore, adjusting the amount of lateral feed actually adjusts the position of the ratchet cover 7 . The range of lateral feed adjustment is 0.33mm to 3.3mm.
