What is the difference between Beton explosion-proof IIB and IIC explosion-proof

National Standard Classification of IIC Class Explosion-proof Distribution Box and IIB Class Explosion-proof Distribution Box

Explosion-proof distribution boxes are used in dangerous places, and their effect is not small. And we should know more about the explosion-proof distribution box, so that it can be more handy when using it. Next, let's understand the national standard classification of explosion-proof distribution boxes.

National standard classification of explosion-proof distribution boxes: Class I (IA, IB, IC), Class II (IIA, IIB, IIIC), Class III (IIIA, IIIB, IIIC)

1. Class I explosion-proof distribution box equipment is used in coal mine gas environment. Note: Type I explosion-proof type considers the ignition of methane and pulverized coal and the physical protection measures added to underground equipment. When the electrical equipment used in coal mines may contain other dangerous gases in addition to methane, it shall be manufactured and tested in accordance with the requirements of the corresponding flammable gases of Class I and Class II. This type of electrical equipment should have corresponding signs (for example: "Ex d I/IIB T3" or "ExdI/II(NH3)".

2. Class II explosion-proof distribution box equipment is used in other dangerous gas environments except coal mine methane gas. Class II electrical equipment can be further classified according to the type of hazardous environment to be used. Reclassification of Class II electrical equipment: Class IIA: the representative gas is propane; Class IIB: the representative gas is ethylene; Class IIC: the representative gas is hydrogen.

3. Class III explosion-proof distribution box equipment is used in hazardous dust environments other than coal mines. Class III electrical equipment can be further classified according to the characteristics of the hazardous dust environment to be used. Reclassification of Class III explosion-proof distribution box: Class IIIA: flammable fly floc; Class IIIB: non-conductive dust; Class IIIC: conductive dust.
