The world's first zinc-air fuel cell vehicle jumped out

On December 6, the International Zinc Association and the International Federation of Zinc Energy Storage Technologies jointly hosted the first International Zinc Air Fuel Cell Symposium at the Hilton Shanghai. At this seminar, Shanghai Boxin Battery Co., Ltd. demonstrated the world's first pure zinc-air fuel cell driven low-floor electric city bus prototype designed and manufactured by the company, which has a continuous mileage of more than 320 kilometers.

According to Shanghai Boxin, in order to reduce environmental pollution and reduce dependence on oil, countries are actively developing alternative energy sources. The development of zinc-air fuel cells with metal zinc as fuel is one of the most realistic methods to solve energy problems. It is reported that Shanghai Boxin has been able to manufacture zinc air primary and secondary fuel cells and make it a practical technology and product. After obtaining the cooperation of FAW Group Wuxi Bus Manufacturing Plant, Shanghai Boxin has completed the manufacture of the first zinc-air battery-driven electric city bus prototype.

The zinc-vacuum battery is called a metal zinc aerodynamic fuel cell, which generates energy by reacting zinc and oxygen. The zinc air primary and secondary fuel cell series products have the advantages of high performance, large capacity, long life, zero pollution, non-combustible explosion, etc., and can be recycled during the battery life cycle.
