The air compressor unit is the core equipment of the PTA unit. At present, all air compressor units for PTA units in China are imported products. The special process, high price and long delivery time of the unit have always been a major problem that has plagued the production of petrochemical enterprises. In addition, the high energy consumption of imported products has always been the bottleneck affecting the economic benefits of the equipment and even the growth of corporate profits. Several domestic manufacturers have participated in the technical exchange of air compressor units for new PTA projects, but have not been able to obtain equipment localization licenses.
Approved by Sinopec Headquarters, Yangzi Petrochemical has carried out energy-saving renovation of the old PTA plant, and the key to the project is the transformation of air compressor units. Since the approval date of Yangzi Petrochemical, the Sinopec Engineering Construction Company has conducted several feasibility studies on major domestic compressors and steam turbine manufacturers. In the end, the combination air compressor and expansion mechanism and rotor dynamics scheme, steam motion design scheme, unit control scheme and steam turbine design scheme provided by Shenggu and Hangqi basically meet the technical requirements of the Yangzi Petrochemical PTA transformation project and get the experts. PTA air compressor unit localization plan first recognized
Sinochem New Network News Yangzi Petrochemical PTA air compressor unit localization program recently passed the expert demonstration organized by Sinopec Group Company. The expert group unanimously agreed that the localization plan for air compressor units prepared by Shenyang Blower Factory and Hangzhou Steam Turbine Plant is reasonable and feasible, and basically meets the technical requirements of Yangzi Petrochemical PTA Reconstruction Project. This is the first domestically approved solution for PTA air compressor units.
