Analysis of air conditioning fan coil

The common problems in the collection of condensed water from the air-conditioning system are: the opposite direction of the water outlet on the bottom of the fan coil water tray in the room, and the condensed water overflows. Wet through the ceiling and destroy the decoration. The condensate pipe is not insulated with insulation material, and the water is often dripped with a wet ceiling. The water pipe fan coil has an electromagnetic main valve to open and close the cold-hot water pipe body, the shut-off valve and the soft joint without the insulation material causing the temperature difference dripping, the water receiving tray does not receive the condensed water and wet the ceiling. The fan coil condensate is directly connected to the main pipe diameter pipe to discharge the outdoor sewer. Because the pipe diameter is too small, the condensate discharge is restricted, and the condensed water is returned to the water pan overflowing. The condensed water pipe has insufficient slope, the self-flow capacity is poor, and the water flow resistance loss increases.

The water outlet of the water tray is located on the side of the flange, and the water outlet is 0.5-1.0 cm above the bottom plane of the tray, so that the condensate maintains this height in the water tray; when the fan is running, the water in the tray is siphoned with the air flow. Go to the inner side of the unit and wet the inner lining along the side slab to keep warm and the sound-absorbing material causes external dripping.

The condensed water pipe winds up and down the air duct and crosses the beam and artificially causes the pipeline to rise and the pressure loss is large. The condensate pipe is clogged.

The solution includes the following:

1. The fan coil can be used after the leveling is installed. According to the water supply and drainage specifications, the slope of the water pipe is 0.01. In the case of decorative and architectural structural conditions, the installation slope is preferably slightly greater than 0.01. The system diameter is also appropriately increased under the condition of permission.

2. All supply and return valves and regulating valve bodies shall be covered with thermal insulation materials. According to HVAC design specifications, the thickness of the condensate pipe insulation layer shall be 3-5cm.

3. The fan coil condensate can be drained into the floor near the proper position of the toilet; according to the high-rise building, the pipe and design area, the building is re-modified, the centralized discharge is reduced as much as possible, and the principle is divided, layered and convenient. The pipe is arranged in a vertical flow; it is absolutely forbidden to bypass the girders or ventilation pipes.

4. The water supply unit water tray slope falls to the middle water outlet, and it is absolutely impossible to ignore the welding process or wire connection requirements and equipment selection of some components connected to the water outlet and the water pipe. A vibration isolation pad is added to the bottom of the unit.
